Background and Analysis:
Councilmembers received some brief information at the 2013 retreat about public engagement / involvement principles and referred the issue to General Government Committee. The committee also asked for an update on city's use of social media, particularly for public information and involvement.
Staff will provide some background information to set the stage for committee discussion.
