Background and Analysis:
Council has asked staff to present several options for extending Log Cabin Road from Boulevard Road SE to Wiggins Road. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has the tools and resources to create renderings that help non-technical people visualize a future project. Staff will be able to present visual images of the options to Council. They will be able to evaluate each option considering the aesthetic and functional ramifications along with the associated costs.

The Interagency Agreement will allow Staff to use WSDOT visualization services for future projects as well. The term of the Interagency Agreement is five years. However, the City and/or WSDOT may terminate the Agreement upon thirty (30) calendar days with prior written notification to the other Parties.

* Approve the Interagency Agreement. Supporting visualization documents will be prepared to help Council and the public better understand each option.

* Decline the Agreement. Staff will need to research firms who can provide this service.
