Background and Analysis:
The Community and Economic Revitalization Committee reviewed and approved the attached schedule and work plan at its February 8, 2016 meeting.
Key work plan items include:
1. Water Street Redevelopment Area Development Partner Contract and Scope of Work: January -- February
2. Area Plan concepts and participate in associated public involvement process public: March -- September
3. Annual Review of Regional and Local Economic Indicators including the Economic Vitality Index, the Regional Economic Outlook and other relevant economic development data and information: March
4. Opportunity Areas and consider possible next steps: March, July
5. Focus Area Planning Efforts for the Kaiser/Harrison: February, April and August
6. Community Renewal Plan: August -- December
7. Section 108 Loan Program and Grow Olympia Fund Oversight: Status Report in July, Ongoing, as needed.
