Background
To provide consistency between our contract and actual practice OFD is requesting to change the title of the Paramedic Training Officer to Paramedic Lieutenant. The Union and Executive management are in agreement with the proposed title change. There are no cost implications as this change is in title only and no change in salary will apply. This change applies to three FTEs.
Findings:
The proposed classification title change reflects the department’s operational needs to better accomplish the department’s mission by providing consistency between contracts.
