Background and Analysis:

Each May, communities around the country celebrate Preservation Month.  Last year the Heritage Commission joined with other community organizations to champion the places liked to Olympia’s rich labor history (“Labor in Olympia - This Place Matters”).

The Outreach Committee has been working with other interested members of the community on this year’s theme of Olympia Oysters.  Committee members will give an update on their progress and reach out to Commissioners to get involved as volunteers and participants.
