Background and Analysis:
Staff presented the proposed the 2019 OMPD budget to the Olympia Municipal Park District (OMPD) Advisory Committee on October 24, 2018. The proposed budget of $3,894,642 would result in an estimated 2019 levy rate of $.54/1000 assessed value. That is the same levy rate as was assessed in 2018.

Financial Impact:
The budget proposed for 2019 represents an increase of $281,898 over the 2018 budget while retaining the same rate of $.54/1000 assessed value. This increased revenue will cover the increased cost of providing the same basic level of services including increased costs for maintenance and repair supplies, city utilities, and staffing costs.
