Building 33, in the same health sciences cluster, is proposed to be demolished to provide area for the Building 31 expansion. The purpose of the expansion is to renovate existing classrooms and locker rooms in the building, provide a new gym and exercise facility, and provide a main communal space in the building for students. Student enrollment and employee capacity are not expected to increase as a result of the building expansion, and as such, no new parking facilities are proposed.
