Background and Analysis:

City Council approved the design concept for the West Bay Art Crossing on July 16. Project artists Lin McJunkin and Milo White proposed two steel and glass sculptures of a salmon and heron, reflecting the nature of the area and the interests of the neighborhood with waterfront and a heron rookery. Final design details include landscaping, construction foundation and lighting plan.

The NWONA neighborhood has been particularly engaged in this project.
