Project Description:
City Council advisory committees generally present annual work plan recommendations to City Council for review and approval. The work plans consist of on-going or new projects and programs for consideration in the upcoming year. The Design Review Board is the only advisory body that does not provide an annual work plan, due in large part to the specific project-focused technical expertise and requirements of volunteer members.
The Design Review Board has added several work sessions, an annual retreat, and professional development presentations during the year to fill meeting dates not reserved for project review(s). Board members will take this meeting time to examine other advisory committee work plans and discuss whether the board has the time, resources and means to add an annual work plan to its existing schedule of project review, or, continue adding individual activities in the schedule, as time allows.

A press release and notification of the public meeting was mailed to interested parties on October 4, 2019.
