Background and Analysis:
On March 23, Governor Jay Inslee issued a Stay Home, Stay Healthy order to mitigate the spread of the deadly coronavirus in Washington state. The order prohibited public gatherings and non-essential business activity among other things. After several extensions of the order, the latest until May 31, the Governor recently set out a four-phased approach to reopening the state and moving to recovery.
The General Government Committee will host a conversation with the members of the City Council about the Olympia community’s recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency.
