Background and Analysis:
On August 18, 1970, the City of Olympia passed Ordinance No. 3613, which vacated a ten-foot alley in Block 8 of Sylvester’s Plat running east and west between Capitol Way and Columbia (the Vacation). The Vacation reserved an easement for the repair, maintenance and replacement of public utilities and services located in the alley until such time as utilities were relocated in a manner approved by the City Engineer of the City of Olympia. The City Engineer has confirmed that the utilities have been relocated in an approved manner.

Options:
1. Approve the resolution authorizing the Release of Utility Easement and quit claiming any and all right, title, and interest to the easement area to Evergreen Plaza Associates, LLC. and authorizing the City Manager to execute the release.
