Update on Olympia’s 2022 Parks, Arts & Recreation Plan development.

Background and Analysis:
Every six years the City of Olympia must adopt a Parks, Arts and Recreation Plan (Parks Plan) in order to be eligible for state Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) grants. Olympia adopted its last plan in 2016, therefore a new plan is due by March 1, 2022.
Staff will provide an update on public engagement activities thus far and solicit PRAC volunteers to encourage surveys at some parks and school lunch sites.
