Background and Analysis:
In preparation for the adoption of the 2021 Operating and Capital Budgets, staff will share updated estimated revenues, expenditures, and critical needs. Olympia Police Department staff will provide additional budget information related to training and the Familiar Faces and Critical Response Unit programs.
The 2021 Preliminary Operating Budget was presented to Council on October 20, 2020 and 2021 Preliminary Capital Budget was presented to City Council on August 11, 2020.

The 2021 Operating and Capitals budgets provide funding for basic city services, including Administration, Parks, Planning, Public Safety, Transportation and Utilities.

2. Request additional information for staff to bring back to Finance Committee for further discussion.
