Background and Analysis:

In 2020, Park Stewardship began conversations with South Sound Parent to Parent, an organization that supports community members who care for, or identify as, physically disabled or mentally challenged. We encouraged family members to complete an Engage Olympia Park Plan survey, as well as list their ideas on what they would like to see in parks and how to create safe environments for children and adults of any ability. This discussion will focus on the list provided by South Sound Parent to Parent, and other community members, and where and how we can implement these ideas.
