Background and Analysis:
The City Council created the Salary Commission on July 18, 2017 and appointed members on July 25, 2017.
The task before the Commission is to study and review issues related to salaries and benefits for City Council and to establish a salary schedule and compensation package to file with the City Clerk by October 1, 2021. A work plan needs to be established with the goal to present a decision to the Olympia City Council by October 1, 2021.
Staff will review the proposed work plan and schedule.
