Report Issue:

Continued discussion of granting program structure, to advance toward a set of program start-up recommendations for the Cultural Access Advisory Board.  Topics for this discussion will include eligibility parameters and model program structure, informed by initial results from a survey of community nonprofit organizations.

Background and Analysis:

The committee’s purpose is to address technical elements of the program framework and develop a set of operational recommendation for the new Advisory Board. 

 

Supported with program budget and grant cycle scenarios, this meeting will continue committee discussion and deliberations to develop effective options for structuring grant distribution with focus on a proposed two-year cycle.

Equity Analysis:

Equity is a substantial goal of Inspire Olympia and an important component of program development and implementation.  The Committee continues to gather relevant information in support of strategies to promoting equity in the program, and through the program in the community. Thurston Regional Planning Council’s 2022 demographic profile for Olympia, US Census data, and Olympia School District data have been consulted for demographic patterns to serve and inform this discussion.
