Background and Analysis:
The City Council will appoint a Councilmember to fill position #6 currently vacant due to the election of Dontae Payne as Mayor. On January 8, the City Council will interview candidates and appoint someone to fill the vacant seat. At their January 9 business meeting the City Clerk will swear in the newly appointed Councilmember.
