Artisans Group Architecture and Planning is proud to submit the application for "Habitat for Humanity Oly Cottages," a transformative housing initiative aligned with the mission of South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity. This project aims to create a 12-unit cottage community, offering affordable homes to families in need. Designed to break free from the financial constraints of renting, the community includes amenities such as a community garden plot, plenty of parking for family and visitors, and a design that fosters a sense of community and comradery among residents. With a rich history of collaboration, Artisans Group is excited to collaborate on yet another project with South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity. We are thrilled to serve our community and bring much needed suburban density and affordable housing to Olympia. With two-story cottages standing at no more than 25’ tall with an 800SF footprint, these cottages will fit in perfectly with the scale and size of their surrounding neighbors. We anticipate positive outcomes, including affordable homeownership, improved well-being, and neighborhood revitalization. Together, we strive to turn this vision into reality, building not just houses but thriving communities for families in Olympia.
