Background and Analysis:
Following completion of the application and grant contract award process each year, the CAAB re-examines program guidelines and processes for continuous improvement purposes.  Using the Inspire Olympia mission statement as the standard for desired program values and outcome, and considering additional program data, experience, outcomes, and input from City Council, the CAAB will discuss the need for program adjustments in advance of the next funding cycle.

The CAAB will review Inspire Olympia funding goals and criteria, application and review processes, and program rules. They will consider the planned allocation of cultural access funding in the current program budget.  Additionally this year, the CAAB will discuss and identify additional opportunities for City Council to shape the program and grant award process.

Climate Analysis:
This discussion and its outcome have no climate impact.

Equity Analysis:
Equity is at the center of Inspire Olympia’s mission.  Equity is advanced through the work of organization receiving Inspire Olympia grants and through the process that awards those grants, the program’s internal processes and decision-making.  Equity will be a chief consideration in these continuous improvement discussions and the resulting recommendations.
