Background and Analysis:
The City of Olympia currently operates a fleet of emergency apparatus that are essential for providing fire response and emergency medical services. The addition of two new Life Line Ambulances will enhance the capabilities of our fleet to accommodate the previously approved BLS transportation service program. This will also create capacity for the City to continue to provide timely and reliable emergency services to the community.
Climate Analysis:
The new Life Line Ambulances have emission levels that are consistent with our current fleet. While there is no significant improvement in emissions with these models, they maintain our current standards for response apparatus and do not contribute to increased environmental impact.
Equity Analysis:
The new ambulance models are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, ensuring equitable access to high-quality emergency medical care for all residents of Olympia.

Financial Impact:
The total cost for the two ambulance vehicles is $659,700.69.
