Background and Analysis:
The public has an opportunity to review and comment on the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program's annual report, called the "Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report" (CAPER).  Tonight's public hearing is part of a 20-day public comment period that runs from October 29, 2012, through 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012.  This opportunity allows community members to evaluate the City's CDBG Program accomplishments.  At the conclusion of the 20-day public comment period, staff will incorporate all public comments into the final CAPER to be submitted to the regional office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) following the close of public comment on November 19, 2012.
