Issue:
On December 16, 2014, City Council approved an Ordinance adopting the 2015 Transportation Impact Fees that help fund future transportation capital improvement projects. After the approval, staff identified an error in the Marina Land Use rate. The attached Ordinance corrects the error.

Background and Analysis:
The background and analysis have not changed from first to second reading.
After Council approved the Ordinance adopting 2015 Transportation Impact Fees, staff realized that the Marina Land Use rate contained a decimal point error in the Ordinance. The revised Ordinance corrects the error with the following change in the Olympia Municipal Code, Section 15.16.040, Schedule D of the Ordinance:

Public hearings were held on October 14 and November 18, 2014. No comments were received concerning the increase in Transportation Impact Fees.
Options:
1. Approve the revised Ordinance amending 2015 Transportation Impact Fees on second reading. The Marina Land Use rate will be consistent with all other land use rates in Schedule D of the 2015 Transportation Impact Fee Ordinance.
2. Approve the revised Ordinance amending 2015 Transportation Impact fees with a change to the proposed Marina Land Use impact fee rate.
3. Do not move forward with an update of the revised 2015 Transportation Impact Fee Ordinance at this time. The City will not collect the fee for the Marina Land Use.
Financial Impact:
The proposed fees will result in the Marina Land Use Fee increasing by approximately 1.28 percent from the 2014 rate.
