Issue:
Several member terms end March 31.
 
Committee Recommendation:
General Government Committee unanimously recommends the reappointments listed below to the Arts Commission, Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Design Review Board, Heritage Commission, Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, and the Utility Advisory Committee.

Move to approve the reappointments recommended by General Government Committee.

Background and Analysis:
Terms for Council-appointed advisory committees, commissions, and boards end March 31. General Government Committee reviewed applications and recommends the following reappointments to the terms as listed. Each individual has confirmed their interest in reappointment.
 
 
Arts Commission
Frank Barber and Ron Hinton to three year terms ending March 31, 2016
 
Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
Clark Gilman to a three year term ending March 31, 2016
 
Design Review Board
David Goularte - business representative to a three year term ending March 31, 2016
Jane Laclergue - citizen-at-large representative to a three year ending March 31, 2016
 
Heritage Commission
Dwyane Harkness to a three year term ending March 31, 2016
 
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
One LTAC reappointment was inadvertently left off of last week's report.
Jack Kiley to a two year term ending March 31, 2015
 
Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee
Rob Ahlschwede, Joel Hansen, and Gerry Hodge to three year terms ending March 31, 2016
 
Utility Advisory Committee
Margaret Drennan, David Dunn, and Chris Ward to three year terms ending March 31, 2016
 
 
Some positions remain open due to vacancies and resignations. General Government Committee will interview applicants for all positions other than Planning Commission on Thursday, March 21. Applications for Planning Commission will continue to be accepted through March 22, and those interviews will be scheduled for early April.
