Background and Analysis:
At its 2025 Annual Retreat, Councilmembers reviewed and updated the Council Meeting Calendar and the Committee assignments.
When possible, the City Council would like to plan for a two-year, non-election-year cycle of committee and interjurisdictional assignments with room for off-year adjustments as needed. The Council assignments were in the middle of the two-year cycle, however with the appointment of Councilmember Kelly Green to the vacated City Council position #5, the assignments were reconsidered and updated.
The 2025 calendar and the full list of committee and interjurisdictional assignments is attached.

The approval of the 2025 Council calendar and assignments does not have a direct effect on the climate, however several of the committee and interjurisdictional assignments contribute to the planning and work to address climate issues in our region.
