Background and Analysis:
The Community and Economic Revitalization Committee reviewed the outline of the workshop process (attached) at their March 6, 2014 meeting. Following that meeting the CERC met with the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC provided feedback to the consultant team about the process and the meeting on April 5, 2014. Some members of the CAC indicated that they will not be available and able to participate in the meeting on April 5, 2014. A follow-up meeting is scheduled for May 1, 2014 to review the results of the workshop with the CERC and the CAC. The scope of this meeting may be able to be adjusted to include continued work by the Citizens Advisory Committee and property owners in a workshop setting.

Options:
1. Review materials and provide feedback and direction to staff regarding the content and process of the workshop and forward a recommendation to the full City Council to proceed with the workshop as proposed.
