Background and Analysis:
The background and analysis have not changed from first reading to second reading.

The Olympia Municipal Code (OMC) was adopted in its current form in 1982.  The OMC contains cross references to obsolete or outdated code sections.  Additionally, there are some provisions of the OMC that have been superseded by later-enacted ordinances.

It is staff's goal of to eliminate invalid cross-references and information in the OMC.  The proposed ordinance corrects some but not all of the errors currently contained in the OMC.  Future ordinances will be brought forward for Council consideration as staff identifies other invalid cross-references and errors in the OMC.
