Committee Recommendation:
The General Government Committee recommends approval of the appointments listed below.
City Manager Recommendation:
Move to approve appointment of Kyle Guzlas and Rhianna Hruska with terms ending March 31, 2021, and Kim Murillo with a term ending March 31, 2019, to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) to fill vacancies, and approve the reappointment of Barbara Benson, with a term ending March 31, 2021.

Background and Analysis:
The General Government Committee interviewed Kim Murillo, Rhianna Hruska and Kyle Guzlas at its March 7, 2018, special meeting and recommends their appointments to fill a vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC). Ms Hruska and Mr. Guzlas each with a term ending March 31, 2021 and Ms. Murillo for a term ending March 31, 2019. The Chair of PRAC, Maria Ruth, joined the General Government Committee for the interview.
The applicants’ applications and resumes are attached. The Committee recommends reappointment of current PRAC member Barbara Benson.

2. Do not approve the appointments and send the issue back to the General Government Committee. This would delay the appointment schedule and leave the Committee not operating at full strength.
