Background:
Based on Civil Service Rule V, Registers, Initial Eligibility Lists, initial eligibility lists were established with candidates who passed the Public Safety Testing written and physical exams. Thirty-five (35) candidates were invited to the phase 1 suitability assessment. Twenty-two (22) participated in the phase 1 suitability assessment, and five (5) passed. Five (5) candidates were invited to oral interview, one (1) withdrew and four (4) participated. One (1) candidate passed the oral interview.
One (1) candidate was male, and one (1) candidate was White/Caucasian. The interview panel consisted of OPD Sergeant Aaron Ficek, OPD Brooklyn McKoon, and Community Member, Ronald Parker.
Findings:
One (1) candidate passed the phase 1 suitability assessment and the oral interview and has been placed with three (3) outstanding candidates on the register in accordance with scores of 80.18 - 93.07.
