Background and Analysis:
The bylaws of the Olympia Sea Level Rise Collaborative state that the Executive Committee officers include a Chair and Vice-Chair. Terms are for one year, and officers may serve multiple terms. A representative of any Member may serve as the Chair or Vice-Chair.
The bylaws state “The Executive Committee will select the Chair and Vice-Chair using its decision-making protocol each year at the March meeting. The previous Chair or Vice Chair will facilitate the selection of the next Chair. If the previous Chair and Vice Chair are no longer serving on the Executive Committee, the City of Olympia representative will facilitate the selection of the next Chair.”
