Background and Analysis:

Throughout Mayor Selby’s tenure she has issued Keys to the City to three recipients who have contributed to the Northwest’s artistic heritage.  The recipients were the rapper Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis; retired Olympia School District Music and Band Director Dan Lundberg; and William and Richenda Richardson of the Childhood’s End Gallery. 

 

Staff was asked to develop a a formal process and procedure for a Key to the City program and will present it for feedback and discussion.
