Background and Analysis:
An item on the PBIA’s workplan for 2023 is to release an RFP for an operator to coordinate and promote makers market events during Q4. In February the Board provided direction to staff to draft the RFP, which should be reviewed and finalized at the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, the Board is asked to review the draft RFP, with special attention to the goals, scope details and requested information. Does this reflect what you are looking for? Also, please be prepared to advise staff on any specific entities you’d like to invite to submit an RFP.

The project will have no impact on greenhouse gas emissions.
Equity Analysis:
To be discussed. The board is asked to consider whether they want to include criteria that the vendor describe how they intend to foster diversity and equity in their approach concerning outreach to creatives and businesses and promotion to the community.
