Issue:
Washington's State Environmental Policy Act provides a variety of local options for varying from standard statewide procedures. Some of these have been previously considered and adopted by the City of Olympia. In 2015, the City will again be exploring these options; this time in conjunction with developing a new 'Downtown Strategy.' This briefing will provide the Commission with background information regarding this issue in preparation for considering specific proposals to be brought forward later in the year.
