Whether to appoint the four individuals recommended by the General Government Committee.
Committee Recommendation:
General Government Committee unanimously recommends appointing Kim Andresen, Max Brown, Darrell Hoppe, and Missy Watts to the Olympia Planning Commission to the terms noted below.

Background and Analysis:
Four positions are open on the Olympia Planning Commission. Eleven individuals applied, and participated in a group discussion activity and interview with the General Government Committee the evening of Thursday, April 18.
General Goverment Committee was impressed with the quality of the candidate pool and the ideas presented individually and collectively at the April 18 meeting. Committee members said that it was a difficult decision. Attached are applications for the recommended individuals.
Appointment Recommendations:
3 year terms to end March 31, 2016:
Kim Andresen, Max Brown, and Missy Watts
1 year term to end March 31, 2014:
Darrell Hoppe

1. Appoint the recommended individuals. Appointment tonight will allow them to participate as members at the next meeting of the Planning Commission, which is Monday, May 6.
