Shall committee work plans be approved as submitted?
Committee Recommendation:
General Government Committee unanimous recommends approval of the proposed 2013 advisory committee / commission work plans.
City Manager's Recommendation:
As recommended by General Government Committee, move to approve the attached 2013 advisory committee / commission work plans.

Background and Analysis:
Annually, Council-appointed advisory committees and commissions submit draft work plans for approval. General Government Committee met with the committee chairs in February to review and discuss each plan.
Traditionally, the Design Review Board and Lodging Tax Advisory Committee do not submit work plans since the nature of their work is the same from year-to-year.
For 2013, the Planning Commission recommends delaying development of their work plan until after new members are appointed and the Commission completes work on the Comprehensive Plan early this Spring. General Government Committee concurred with the request, which is why a work plan from that group is not submitted at this time.
