Background:
Based on Civil Service Rule V, Registers, Initial Eligibility Lists, initial eligibility lists were established with candidates who applied and met the assigned criteria for Firefighter-Paramedic positions. Five (5) candidates applied and five (5) were invited to interview. Five (5) candidates participated in the interview. Four (4) candidates passed the interview. Four (4) candidates have been placed on the register.
Two (2) candidates were male, and two (2) candidates were female. Four (4) candidates were white/caucasian. The interview panel consisted of OFD Acting Captain-Medical Services Officer Troy Churchwell, OFD BC Matt Gantenbein, and Sarena Bellovich (OFD CARES/community member).
Findings:
Four (4) candidates passed the interview and have been placed on the register, along with the two (2) existing candidates on the register, in accordance with scores of 80.14-74.02
