Issue:
Each year the Olympia Heritage Commission honors a person or project that contributes significantly to the preservation of Olympia's history.

Background and Analysis:
This year the Commission selected Walker John for his restoration and rehabilitation of the historic Cunningham Building at 325 E 4th Avenue, which dates back to 1896.
The second recipients are Deborah Ross and Brian Hovis for their creation of the "Where Are We?" database of historic sites, featuring "then and now" images and site information.
The awards will be presented by the Chair at the meeting during Special Recognition.
