Background and Analysis:
Every year the UAC develops a workplan which is the guiding document that determines the business items for the UAC during each monthly meeting.  Ideas/topics are solicited from UAC members and City staff. The workplan is approved by the UAC in collaboration with Department staff, and then forwarded to the Council General Government Committee for their review and formal adoption by the City Council.
Olympia Municipal Code (OMC) 2.100, establishes City Advisory Committees and is attached for review by UAC members. The UAC reviews the OMC code annually, to provide feedback to the City Council on issues or needed changes to the code.

Work plan items from staff and UAC are due December 15. A Workplan Request Form is attached.  From the workplan requests, staff will create a draft work plan for UAC review. During the January meeting, the UAC will review, discuss and finalize the workplan for submission to the General Government Committee.

Neighborhood/Community Interests (if known):
Most of the items included in the draft work plan for 2014-2015 would be of interest to neighborhoods and community members.
