Background and Analysis:
In November 2013, BPAC received a report from Tom Hill, Building Official, on code compliance for bicycle parking on new construction. He offered to provide some building plans to BPAC for their review, so members can see examples of how bike parking is described on plans. The purpose of the subcommittee is to review those plans with a representative from Community Planning and Development and report back to the committee.

Neighborhood/Community Interests (if known):
Olympia Safe Streets, a community organization, has expressed concern about enforcement of bicycle parking on new development.

Options:
1.      The committee moves to form the subcommittee.
2.      The committee does not move to form the subcommittee. The committee may propose another action to take.
