Final Deliberations on CFP Recommendation Letter to City Council

Issue:
The Planning Commission and several other advisory committees are responsible for making a recommendation to the City Council on the annual Capital Facilities Plan (CFP). A Preliminary 2013-2018 CFP prepared by staff was issued in July. The Commission's Finance Subcommittee is charged with reviewing the CFP and drafting a recommendation letter to be reviewed and finally approved by the full Commission. The full Commission reviewed the draft letter on September 17, 2012 and suggested edits. Changes are incorporated into the attached final draft. The City Council will hold a public hearing on the preliminary 2013-2018 CFP on October 9, 2012.
Finance Subcommittee Recommendation:
Approve the final draft letter, and submit to the City Council.
