Background and Analysis:
The PBIA Advisory Board’s duties include the development of an annual work plan for recommendation to City Council. The PBIA Advisory Board has not yet developed a work plan for 2024. Staff will present a draft work plan to the PBIA Advisory Board for consideration.

The PBIA supports a vibrant Downtown, which is relevant to a broad range of Downtown stakeholders as well as businesses (ratepayers) within the PBIA’s boundaries.
Options:
1. Approve the Draft PBIA Work Plan for recommendation to Council
2. Approve the Draft PBIA Work Plan with modifications for recommendation to Council
3. Do not approve the Draft PBIA Work Plan at this time
Financial Impact:
Administering the PBIA comes with significant staffing and other costs. PBIA Work Plan and related budget may only affect the PBIA Fund; OR, depending on complexity of programming, the PBIA Work Plan may incur additional staffing and other costs related to administration.
