Background
The Police Chief is requesting to broaden the experience required in the Police Lieutenant Job Classification. The changes would allow for candidate internal to the department as well as external to the organization the ability to apply for the position.
Findings:
The proposed change to the minimum qualifications of the Police Lieutenant job posting will expand the applicant pool for the department.
