Background and Analysis:
Each year, the General Government Committee interviews candidates for vacant seats on the City’s Advisory Boards and Commissions and forwards recommendations to the City Council. Staff will update the Committee on the status and changes for the 2019 Advisory Board recruitment cycle, specifically addressing:
• Status of Term Limits
• Application Screening by individual advisory boards and commissions
• Establishment of the HOME Fund Advisory Committee
