Issue:

The Council is reviewing the Olympia Planning Commission (OPC) Draft of the Comprehensive Plan Update. This is BPAC's opportunity to comment on that draft.

Background and Analysis:

The City initiated an update to the Comprehensive Plan in 2009. The BPAC has commented on prior drafts of the updated plan. The OPC finished its updated draft of the plan in December 2013. Council has indicated their intent to adopt the final draft of the Comprehensive Plan by June 2014.

Options:

1. Accept the draft letter as written.

2. Review and revise the draft letter, then approve the revised version.

3. Review and revise the draft letter and approve it at the next meeting.
