Background and Analysis:
The Olympia City Council has set its mid-year retreat for Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the LOTT Board Room, 500 Adams St.  The retreat is an opportunity to continue to strengthen the effectiveness of the legislative body, provide updates on key City initiatives within the Council's four working subcommittees, and shape direction and expectations for the remainder of the year.

Attached is a draft retreat agenda that outlines key issues and topics for the four Council Committees.  The General Government Committee and Land Use and Environment Committee have yet to meet to finalize their highlighted issues.  The General Government Committee meets on August 19, and the Land Use and Environment Committee meets on August 28.  Following those meetings, the agenda may be revised further.
