Background and Analysis:
Each year, all Council Committees develop a work plan; and, to prepare for 2026, staff is seeking Committee input on future agenda items for the Community Livability and Public Safety Committee.
At the first meeting in 2026, staff will present a work plan based on the items discussed on October 15, 2025, and informed by the annual Council retreat which is anticipated to be scheduled in early January 2026. Once the Committee approves their work plan it will be forwarded to the full Council for their consideration and approval.
Climate Analysis:
The Climate analysis will be completed for the individual work plan items being presented to the Committee throughout the year.
Equity Analysis:
The Equity analysis will be completed for the individual work plan items being presented to the Committee throughout the year.
Neighborhood/Community Interests (if known):
Items on the Community Livability and Public Safety Committee work plan are of high interest to the community and Council-appointed advisory committees, commissions, and boards. These will be highlighted by staff when the work plan item is presented to the Committee.
