Background:
Based on Civil Service Rule V, Registers, former Firefighter/Paramedic Ciaran Keogh has requested to return to his position with the Olympia Fire Department. Ciaran had previously left employment to attend college and has since decided to return to his previous career. He was originally hired on 03/25/2020 and separated on 07/06/2024. He still holds the required certifications and qualifications for reinstatement. A pre-employment background check will be required prior to hiring. Deputy Chief Mark Schreck met with Ciaran, discussed his return and confirmed the position is available for reinstatement.
Findings:
Keogh has been placed on a Reinstatement Register to return to his previous position of Firefighter/Paramedic.
