Background and Analysis:
The water line serving the Pearl Beach neighborhood in West Olympia has been identified for replacement due to age, location, and condition. The existing water line is in poor condition and located in an area with difficult access for maintenance and repairs. A project to replace the water line will relocate it in an existing private roadway. The new location will reduce future maintenance costs and provide efficient water service for City customers. Utility easements from four property owners are required to construct the new water line and maintain it.

Neighborhood/Community Interests (if known):
No known concerns.
Options:
Approve and authorize the City Manager to sign Utility Easements with the following property owners:  Julie Palakovich, Gregory H. and Cynthia Ruhl, Freddie M. and Sandra I. Saeger, and Kym M. Ryan.
Only viable option.
Financial Impact:
The property owners granted the Utility Easements in exchange for the installation of the water line and water services to their homes.
