Receive update on Olympia Parks, Arts and Recreation’s 2020 Performance Report.

Background and Analysis:
The Department uses performance measures to determine and communicate levels of success in delivering services to the community. This data‐based approach measures whether the Department is meeting expectations in many different areas including park acres, park condition, recreation activities, and park asset management.
The metrics in the Performance Report are a result of the 2016 Parks, Arts & Recreation Plan. With the development of the 2022 update to the Plan, staff have been working to streamline and refine the department’s performance metrics.
