Background and Analysis:
In an ongoing effort to engage our citizens in the City's annual budget process, the Finance Committee and budget staff are meeting with the Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (CNA) to provide an overview on the annual budget process and City services.  The attached documents provide information such as, the City's revenues, expenses, key expense drivers, goals and long-term financial strategies, and how citizens can get involved in the City's budget process.

This information is being provided as a budget training pilot project.  The Finance Committee and budget staff are looking for feedback from the CNA on the material being presented.  The City plans to do future budget trainings to other community and business groups and will use this feedback to enhance future trainings.
