Background and Analysis:

Last fall, staff liaison Michelle Swanson and former Committee Chair David Coppley attended a training on parliamentary procedure, called Jurassic Parliament. At the September meeting, they shared lessons learned from the training. As a result, the BPAC moved to make a greater effort to follow some best practices of parliamentary procedure. Those practices are outlined in the attached “parliamentary procedure quick guide.”

This is an opportunity for the Committee to discuss the progress toward improving its parliamentary practices.
